The Owner
Adam Getty has been dealing with emergencies his entire adult life
He started his career as an Air Force Pararescueman. In order to become a PJ one must complete arguably one of the most difficult selection and training programs that the military has to offer. Multiple deployments to the middle east during Operation Northern and Southern watch just before the twin towers came down. During the last part of his time as a PJ, he taught at the PJ Apprentice course. He was the NCIOC of the ground operations portion of training which included SERE, Land Navigation, Rope Rescue, Weapons and Tactics, Helo infil and exfil techniques (think Fast Roping and rappelling out of Pave Hawks, Huey's and Pave Lows),
After that he became a decorated member of the Rio Rancho Fire Department as a Firefighter Paramedic. There he honed his skills in medicine, situational awareness, and managing dynamic situations. A small detour in the middle of his firefighting career, he managed an ambulance company in western Maryland for a few years and brought the organization into state compliance. He then worked as a contractor on Kirtland AFB supporting the 58th SOW flight training. His duties included "oposition forces" to simulate attacks during flight training as well as Fast Roping, rappelling, rope ladder and hoist operations to assist in the training of the aircraft Special Mission Aviators.
After leaving the contracting world Adam jumped into Security Guard services as Partner/owner and functioning as the Director of Training for a growing local security enterprise.
He is a gifted instructor and loves nothing more than to pass on his experience and knowledge of emergency medicine, tactics and firearms to his staff and those who come to Traverse Training Group to receive the best training in the southwest.
